Below you will find a list of projects that we have completed since the first time the team visited the Bajo Lempa region. Scroll down to see photos of these projects being finished!
- built 30+ chicken coops and distributed over 1200 chickens to local village families
- partnered with Living Water International and Clean Waters U to drill and build 4 clean water wells, bringing clean water to nearly 1,500 people
- "dewormed" over 1,500 people with parasite medication
- worked with local health authority to establish 2 medical clinics
- distributed over 4 tons of medical supplies while providing over 1200 "check ups" with local villagers
- repainted the local school and community center
- repaired roofs of local prayer chapel and school building
- purchased land for local congrgation
- partnered with the local community to build a fence around the community center, allowing for a community garden
- purchased and delivered 100+ bikes for local high school students, giving them access to secondary school
- paid for hospitalization and necessary medical treatment for individuals in need of life saving medical attention
- established local sewing business
- donated over 3 tons of school supplies
- built 2nd school for the community
- built 4 latrines for the community (they do not have functioning modern bathrooms in their homes).
- So far, we have extended our reach to four communities in the Bajo Lempa region- Rancho Grande, Taura, San carlos, and Monte Cristo
- Built a chapel
- provided seed and fertilizer during a time of famine.
